Limassol police have arrested two individuals in separate cases involving the theft of more than €338,000 from their employers.
The first case involves a 61-year-old woman who worked as an accountant for a local company. According to a complaint filed by a company director, the suspect allegedly misappropriated €303,560 between 2023 and 2025. She was arrested and is expected to appear before the Limassol District Court this morning for a remand hearing.
In a second, unrelated incident, a 26-year-old man is also due to appear before the same court following his arrest for theft by an employee. Police said the man worked at a betting shop, where he allegedly embezzled €34,645.
Investigations into both cases are ongoing.
