A 43-year-old man of Arab origin died on Tuesday after falling from height at a construction site in Lakatamia, police said.
The worker appears to have fallen from a considerable height at the site where he was employed, according to police, who said the exact circumstances remain under investigation.
Colleagues attempted to rush him to hospital in their own vehicle, but encountered the ambulance that had already been called for him along the way.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the man’s death with the assistance of the Department of Labour Inspection.
