A fire broke out around midnight today in a car belonging to a 45-year-old man while the vehicle was parked outside his home in Aradippou. Police and Fire Service units rushed to the scene and extinguished the blaze, which caused significant damage to the front of the vehicle.
Officers cordoned off the area to conduct a forensic investigation this morning. The findings confirmed that an electrical short circuit triggered the fire. Aradippou Police Station continues to look into the matter.
