EAC rolls out smart meters across all districts throughout February

The Electricity Authority of Cyprus has announced that its mass smart meter installation programme continues throughout February across all districts.

The new smart meters will be installed in the following areas:

Nicosia

  • Latsia – Geri
  • New General Hospital area
  • Area between Giannou Kranidioti Avenue and the Nicosia-Limassol motorway
  • Area bounded by Giannou Kranidioti Avenue, Limassol Avenue, Karaisakeio Foundation road and Kantaras, Argolidos, Dimokratias, Christoforou Kai streets and Agiou Georgiou Avenue
  • Both sides of Agiou Georgiou Avenue, up to the level of Geri Gymnasium

Limassol

  • Limassol, Agios Athanasios, Mesa Geitonia
  • Areas north of the Limassol-Nicosia motorway, from the level of Agios Athanasios Industrial Area to the Agia Fylaxis roundabout

Larnaca

  • Larnaca, Aradippou, Livadia
  • Area between Kyriakou Matsi Avenue, Lysou Santama and Andrea Mouzaki streets, as well as both sides of Agias Sofias Avenue
  • Both sides of Kyriakou Matsi Street in Livadia, up to the level of Pavlou Liasidi Street

Famagusta

  • Deryneia
  • Both sides of Agias Marinas Avenue
  • Both sides of Ammochostos Avenue up to the Deryneia roadblock
  • Both sides of Stadiou and Omonias streets, as well as Eleftherias Avenue

Paphos

  • Geroskipou
  • Area between Archbishop Makarios III Avenue, Hippocrates, Gianni Kontou and Ignatias streets, and Europe Avenue

The Electricity Authority of Cyprus reminds customers that, for safe meter replacement, a power cut lasting no more than 20 minutes is required and apologises for any inconvenience.
