The department calls on manufacturers, agents, distributors, importers and sellers who may have supplied or supply such products in Cyprus to inform the Road Transport Department. These economic operators must take all necessary measures to recall the products as required by relevant legislation, the department said.
The department also calls on consumers who own the vehicles or motorcycles to contact the manufacturer, agent or distributor for instructions.
If a manufacturer, agent, distributor, importer or seller refuses to respond to consumer rights, consumers should submit written complaints to the Consumer Protection Service through www.consumer.gov.cy.
