The 4th Youth Tech Fest Cyprus 2026 powered by Freedom24 returns on Saturday, 7 February 2026, in Limassol, bringing together a full-day experience of education, technology and creativity for children, young people, parents and educators.
As the largest free youth technology festival in Cyprus, the event has evolved into a globally recognised platform that connects education, innovation and society.
As Sean Alimov, Founder of Youth Tech Fest Cyprus, explains, “From the very beginning, our goal was to create an open and accessible space where children don’t just hear about technology, but experience it through creativity, collaboration and hands-on participation.”
A day full of experiences and action
The festival features a rich and multi-dimensional programme of activities, covering areas such as robotics, coding, science, XR and VR experiences, gaming challenges, creative workshops, competitions and interactive showcases.
At the heart of the festival is the upgraded Edutainment Zone, where children actively participate, experiment and collaborate. “Learning becomes meaningful when children are free to try, make mistakes and try again,” notes Alimov.
Education, inspiration and global perspectives
A central part of the programme is the EdX Summit, featuring talks and discussions by international and local experts on the future of education, digital skills and lifelong learning.
In parallel, more than 43 representatives from leading UK universities, along with students and graduates from Harvard, UCL and Cambridge, will share practical insights and first-hand experiences related to admissions pathways to world-class universities, as part of the Pathways to Top Universities initiative.
Competitions, arts and sports
The programme also includes flagship competitions and showcases such as:
- Chess Festival
- Youth Unicorn Start-Up Competition
- Future Voices Stage (debate competition)
- Rising Rhythms National Dance & Music Competition
- Cubing Tournament
- Roblox Gaming Hackathon
At the same time, the Family Sport Bonanza brings parents and children together through activities such as martial arts, football, cycling and rugby, encouraging physical activity and teamwork.
Why it matters
