Clear skies Thursday before clouds build, mountain frost expected

Thursday will be mainly clear before cloud cover increases in the afternoon, with morning frost expected in higher mountain areas.

Light variable winds of 3 Beaufort will blow and the sea will be smooth to slight.

Temperatures will reach 15°C inland, around 17°C on the coast and 6°C in the higher mountains, where frost will be observed locally in the early hours.

Rain possible from Friday

The weather will become gradually cloudier on Friday afternoon, with isolated showers possible mainly in the mountains.

Saturday and Sunday will see cloudy intervals with isolated showers expected, mainly in the western half of the island. Snow or sleet is expected to fall on the highest peaks of Troodos.

Temperatures on Friday are not expected to change significantly, but will drop noticeably by Sunday to fluctuate below the average for the season.
