Cyprus will experience intermittent cloud cover with isolated rain showers and brief thunderstorms on Tuesday, initially affecting western and northern areas before spreading to the north, interior and mountains later in the day, according to the meteorological service.
Northwestern winds will blow moderate to strong at force 4 to 5 on the Beaufort scale, locally reaching very strong force 6. The sea will be rough in the south and east and very rough along rthe emaining coastlines.
Temperatures will climb to around 12 degrees Celsius inland, approximately 15C along the coast and about 2C in the highest mountain areas.
Wednesday and Thursday will bring mainly clear conditions. On Friday, increased cloud cover may produce isolated light rain in mountainous regions.
Temperatures are not expected to change significantly on Wednesday but will gradually rise through Friday to settle near seasonal averages.
