The Fire Service in Limassol was mobilised last night to deal with fires that broke out in a car and a moped. Regarding the car, an examination of the scene determined that the fire was caused by a short circuit.
Car Fire in Omonia
According to the Fire Service, the first fire broke out a few minutes before 9:00 PM last night. It involved a car that was parked in an open space, outside a car parts shop in the Omonia area for repair. Two fire trucks responded to extinguish the blaze. The car suffered damage to the engine compartment due due to the fire.
Moped Fire
A few hours later, specifically at 11:53 PM, the Fire Service responded to deal with a fire that broke out in a moped, which was also parked in an open space in Limassol. The moped sustained extensive damage from the fire, the extent of which has not yet been determined.
