The Central Administrative Board of the Cyprus Elementary Teachers’ Union (POED) held a first review on 30 December of all data concerning the passing of the bill on the evaluation of teachers and educational work by the Plenum of the House of Representatives, but no decisions were taken, the organisation’s President, Myria Vassiliou, stated in response to a question from CNA (Cyprus News Agency).
She also said that a new meeting has been scheduled for 8 January, during which POED, among other topics it will examine, will again have the evaluation issue on the table, will study the data, and will make its decisions regarding the management of the whole issue.
