Police in Limassol are on high alert following a drive-by shooting targeting a hotel complex in a central district late this afternoon.
According to initial reports, two individuals on a motorcycle approached the foreign-owned building and fired multiple shots before speeding away from the scene. Members of the Limassol Criminal Investigation Department (CID) rushed to the area, cordoning off the site to begin forensic examinations and a manhunt for the suspects.
No injuries have been reported so far, though the extent of the damage to the building is currently being assessed. Investigators are reportedly reviewing CCTV footage from nearby businesses to identify the motorcycle and its escape route.
