Police are investigating reports of gunfire outside a Paralimni house connected to an associate of a Famagusta-based businessman who has been targeted in two previous criminal incidents.
Officers received information around 5:30 pm on Tuesday that unknown individuals fired shots in the early hours of Tuesday morning at the property, according to police sources.
Members of Famagusta CID rushed to the scene to investigate the report.
The businessman linked to the property was previously targeted last summer when a grenade was discovered at his busy Ayia Napa establishment, prompting an evacuation.
Days later, a second bomb threat at the same location led to another evacuation and search, though nothing was found.
