President Christodoulides announces cabinet reshuffle with four new ministers

President Christodoulides has announced a wide-ranging cabinet reshuffle, appointing four new members and rotating one minister to a different post, the Presidency said in a statement.

The changes involve four ministerial positions, a deputy ministry, and the Commissioner to the President post. The new appointments and changes are as follows:

Minister of Energy, Commerce and Industry: Michalis Damianou (moved from Minister of Health). George Papanastasiou departs the post.

Minister of Labour and Social Insurance: Marinos Mousiouttas. He replaces Yiannis Panagiotou.

Minister of Justice and Public Order: Constantinos Fytiris. He replaces Marios Hartsiotis, who moves to the Commissioner to the President role.

Minister of Health: Neophytos Charalambides. He replaces Michalis Damianou.

Deputy Minister of Social Welfare: Klea Hadjistefanou Papaellina. She replaces Marilena Evangelou.

Commissioner to the President: Marios Hartsiotis (moved from Minister of Justice). He replaces Anna Aristotelous.

The swearing-in ceremony for the new ministers and officials is scheduled for Monday, 8 December 2025.
