Cyprus weather: Light rain possible ahead of heavy weekend storms

On Wednesday, the weather will be partly cloudy and intermittently cloudy, with a possibility of isolated light rain.

Winds in the morning will be variable and light, 3 Beaufort, gradually shifting to mostly north-easterly to south-easterly, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort.

The sea will be smooth to slight.

Temperatures are expected to reach around 22 degrees Celsius inland and along the coasts, and approximately 12 degrees Celsius in the highest mountainous regions.

On Thursday, the weather will be partly cloudy and intermittently cloudy, with isolated showers expected.

On Friday, the weather will be mostly cloudy, with rain expected locally. From the afternoon onwards, local rain and thunderstorms are forecast, initially in the west and south, gradually extending to the remaining areas.

On Saturday, the weather will be cloudy with local rain and isolated thunderstorms.

Temperatures are not expected to change significantly until Friday, remaining near or slightly above the seasonal average. However, a drop in temperature is expected on Saturday.
