Police were alerted on Monday night after unknown attackers threw three molotov cocktails at the teachers’ lounge of Archangelos Gymnasium in Lakatamia, Nicosia.
The Molotov cocktails failed to explode, so the perpetrators set fire to the room’s curtains, police said.
A private security guard extinguished the fire with a fire extinguisher. The fire service and police rushed to the scene for investigations.
The scene was placed under guard.
