It’s been a horrific night and early hours on the roads, with yet another serious accident reported just before midnight in central Paphos, when a 19 year old lost control of the motorbike he was driving and veered off course.
The vehicle initially hit a pavement on Morphou street and subsequently a protective railing, before overturning and throwing both the driver and the 17 year old passenger, onto the tarmac.
Both suffered serious head injuries, with the passenger also having an arm fracture.
They are being treated at the Paphos General, with their condition described as non-life threatening.
The local traffic department investigating the circumstances of the accident.
