Police arrested a 32-year-old man after a 49-year-old man was stabbed at a construction site in Larnaca and are investigating the case as an attempted murder.
The 49-year-old was attacked with a knife by the 32-year-old at around 3:15pm on Monday, suffering injuries in the incident, according to police.
Paramedics took the victim to Larnaca General Hospital, where doctors found he had sustained lacerations to his neck and hands. He was discharged after receiving first aid.
Police obtained a court warrant and arrested the 32-year-old, who was placed in custody. Aradhippou Police Station is investigating the case.
