A fire broke out on Sunday morning (23/11) in a rugged area of the Pachna community in the Limassol district.
According to the Fire Service spokesman, Andreas Kettis, dry grass, wild vegetation and a number of trees are burning.
Firefighting forces are protecting homes in the area. Six fire engines in total from Limassol city and district responded to tackle the blaze.
The Department of Forests is sending another fire engine to reinforce firefighting forces, and aircraft are on their way to the fire.
