A 17-year-old male remains in intensive care at Paphos General Hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Eratous Avenue at approximately 10:30pm on Thursday.
The teenager was crossing the road when he was hit by a car driven by a 20-year-old woman who had two 18-year-old passengers. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Medical examination revealed the victim sustained leg fractures along with internal bleeding in his lungs and abdomen. Hospital officials describe his condition as serious.
The young man was transported to Paphos General Hospital by ambulance following the collision. Medical staff immediately admitted him to the intensive care unit for treatment of his injuries.
Police conducted an alcohol test on the driver, which returned a negative result. The 20-year-old woman was driving with two passengers at the time of the accident.
