Cyprus recorded significant growth in tourism revenue during the first half of 2025, reaching €1.378 billion compared to €1.136 billion in the same period of 2024, representing an annual increase of 21.3%, according to Statistical Service data.

June 2025 alone generated €422.3 million in tourism revenue, marking a 9.6% increase from June 2024’s €385.2 million. The month’s performance contributed substantially to the strong half-year results.
Per capita tourist spending reached €847.01 in June 2025, compared to €798.77 in June 2024, representing a 6% increase in individual visitor expenditure.
Israeli tourists show highest daily spending at €149.44 per person
British tourists, comprising 36.4% of total visitors, spent an average of €103.92 daily during their stays. Polish tourists, representing 7.3% of arrivals, recorded daily spending of €90.91 per person.
