The Industrial Production Index in Cyprus recorded a 4.8% increase on an annual basis in November 2023, driven upward by most economic categories.
According to data released today by the Statistical Service, the Industrial Production Index for November 2023 reached 138.5 units (base year 2015=100), marking a 4.8% increase compared to November 2022.
For the period January to November 2023, the index showed a 2.5% increase compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
In the manufacturing sector, there was an increase of 3.2% compared to November 2022.
Significant percentage increases were also recorded in the water supply and waste management sector with 30.6%, as well as in the electricity supply with 7.8%, and in mining and quarrying with 6%.
