Man seriously injured in crash, Paphos police say

A 57-year-old man was seriously injured in a car accident on the Stroumbi-Tsada road after a three-car crash, police said on Tuesday.

According to police, on Monday afternoon around 4pm, a car driven by a 76-year-old with three other passengers crashed into another vehicle driven by a 33-year-old man, where his 34-year-old wife and two children were.

After the two crashed the 33-year-old’s vehicle spun into the road and hit the car of the 57-year-old that was seriously injured.

The 57-year-old was rushed to Paphos General and then taken to Nicosia General, where he is being treated in critical condition.

The two children were also taken to Paphos General, along with their parents, as well as one of the passengers from the 76-year-old’s vehicle.

They were kept for monitoring.
