The number of registered unemployed individuals reached 12,662 at the end of November 2023, according to data maintained by the Provincial Employment Offices.
According to the Statistical Service, based on seasonally adjusted data indicating the unemployment trend, the number of registered unemployed individuals decreased to 11,808 in November 2023, compared to 11,873 the previous month.
In comparison to November 2022, there was a decrease of 2,647 individuals or 17.3%. This reduction is mainly attributed to the sectors of accommodation and food services, trade, construction, financial and insurance activities, as well as a decline in newcomers to the job market.
