On the occasion of the declaration and signing of the Convention on the Rights of the Child by the UN General Assembly on 20 November 1989, the Music and Greek departments of the Heritage Private School joyously celebrated World Children’s Day.
The event featured the active involvement of Greek-speaking students from the Primary School.
Students from Years 1-5 conveyed a harmonious yet impactful message highlighting the global significance of respecting children’s rights, emphasising that our children constitute both the present and future of Cyprus. Indeed, their voices deserve to and must be heard loudly!
The celebration immersed the audience in a captivating blend of language and music. The songs, delivered in both Greek and the Cypriot dialect, added a unique touch to the event.
Undoubtedly, this day will remain an unforgettable experience for the young and old alike.
