As of September 7, the percentage of Cyprus’ adult population that has received at least the first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine rose to 79.4%.
And 75.1% of the 18 and above age bracket have completed their vaccine regimen.
Moreover, 38.5% of young ones aged 16 and 17 received their first dose and 30.4% have completed their vaccine regimen.
As for those aged 12-15, a total of 22.3% got their first dose and 9.2% have completed their vaccine regimen.
As regards the vaccination coverage per district, 90.4% of the population of coastal Paphos has received the first dose, followed by Famagusta and Nicosia with 88.8% and 78% respectively.
Limassol has covered 77.8% of its population with at least the first dose followed by Larnaca with 73.8%.
