Expressed interest will determine the number of walk-in anti-Covid vaccination centres to be in operation in or near high schools all across Cyprus during the upcoming academic year.
This is what Philenews reported on Wednesday citing insiders.
If the interest from students at a specific high or technical school is not high then no walk-in centre will operate.
And parents themselves will have to convince and take adolescents to get vaccinated.
This seems to have been clarified during Tuesday’s meeting at the Education Ministry which focused on the hot issue of “Student vaccinations”.
The discussion was between Minister Prodromos Prodromou and the committee of doctors advising the government in the presence of epidemiological members of the Scientific Advisory Committee.
