A total of 12 state services and two independent ones will be within the Nicosia vicinity of the Presidential Palace-Finance Ministry in the next couple of years.
This is what Interior Minister Nicos Nouris told Philenews on Monday, adding that available parking spaces will also increase substantially.
Specifically, the services in that area of the capital are the following: Presidential Palace, Foreign Affairs Ministry, Legal Service, Press and Information Office, and the ministries of Interior, Transport and Justice.
As well as the future House of Representatives, General Secretariat (where the state archive will be), the state library, Ministry of Finance and Income Tax Department.
At the same time, the non-state services of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry and that of the Audit Office are already located there.
In addition to existing ones, area employees as well as city visitors will have an additional 1,000 parking spaces.
Of them, 500 will be created in the basement of the old GSP stadium and another 500 in the basements of the Ministries of Interior, Transport and Justice.
