All Ukrainian refugees in Cyprus with temporary protection status are eligible to free healthcare services at public medical centres island-wide, an official announcement said on Tuesday.
And their needs for medicine are covered by the pharmacies of public hospitals, it added.
Cyprus hosts an estimated 15,000 Ukrainian refugees, some of them having lived here before February’s Russian invasion.
Ukraine refugees with temporary protection status are accepted at the public medical centres provided they have the confirmation of the Temporary Protection Decision issued by the Asylum Service.
Or the Residence Permit issued by the Civil Registry and Migration Department.
