Police issued fines towards 19 people and seven homeowners or managers of institutions for violations of COVID measures, in a complete of two,361 checks island-wide the final 24 hours.
In Nicosia the Police carried out 770 checks and fined 1 particular person and three institutions whereas in Limassol in a complete of 206 checks, 15 violations have been detected and fines have been issued towards 11 residents and 4 institutions.
In Larnaka the Police carried out 571 checks and fined one citizen and in Pafos in a complete of 113 police checks fines have been issued towards one citizen and one institution. In Famagusta the Police carried out 336 checks and fined 4 individuals whereas in Morphou in 182 checks the Police fined one citizen.
The Visitors division carried out 164 checks and the Marine and Port Police 19 and no violations have been detected.
