Police are investigating a murder case after the death of 85-year-old Charalambos Kounnapis, who had been receiving treatment at Nicosia General Hospital.
Kounnapis had been attacked during a robbery at his home in the Nicosia district on December 20, 2025.
A 19-year-old is in custody awaiting trial in connection with the case, which is being heard before the Criminal Court.
