A 23-year-old woman is being treated in intensive care following a serious road accident near the Konia area of Paphos early Sunday morning.
The crash occurred at approximately 2:00 a.m. while the woman was driving on the Limassol-Paphos motorway. Police said she lost control of the vehicle, which then slammed into the safety barriers and overturned.
Members of the Fire Service were called to the scene to pull the woman from the vehicle. She was transported by ambulance to Paphos General Hospital, where she underwent emergency surgery for multiple injuries.
Hospital staff have confirmed that she remains in critical condition.
Paphos Traffic Police are investigating the cause of the collision.
