A woman found two terrified chihuahuas abandoned overnight at Academy Park in Aglantzia on 16 January, with one being emaciated.
She discovered the dogs around 06:45 inside the park’s fenced area, apparently left during the night in freezing temperatures.
The woman is now seeking the owner’s identity to file a complaint against them. She noted that shelters and foster homes were available options instead of leaving the dogs exposed to the cold.
