Once again, and for the seventeenth consecutive year, divers dressed as Santa Claus celebrated Christmas beneath the waves at the Nemesis shipwreck off the coast of Protaras.
The Summer Divers club continued the tradition that began in 2007, keeping the festive underwater celebration alive.
Every Christmas, the divers don Santa Claus outfits, exchange gifts, decorate a tree, and enjoy champagne underwater, marking the holiday season in their unique way.
The ‘Summer Divers’ club was established in June 2006, by NAUI Instructor Charalambos Constantinou.
