Three mild quakes shake Gerasa, Limassol, in previous 24 hours

Over the previous 24 hours, Gerasa village in Limassol was shaken by two quakes of magnitude 3.0 or above and one quake of magnitude 2.0.

On August 11, 1999 a powerful earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale once more had its epicenter close to Gerasa village.

It was  strongly felt throughout all the island and had triggered harm to buildings in Limassol.

Forty individuals have been calmly injured primarily due to panic. A lot of aftershocks continued for months.
