The head of the Hamas National Security Forces is killed after an Israeli raid

The Commander of Hamas-led National Security Forces was killed today along with members of his family in an Israeli airstrike on their home, as Israel continued its bombing campaign in the war-torn Gaza Strip.

Jehad Mheisen, a key Hamas leader, was killed in an Israeli strike on his home in Gaza today, a Hamas-affiliated news agency reported today.

Israeli airstrikes today continued to obliterate neighborhoods across the 25-mile enclave, including areas in the south that Israel had declared “safe zones.”

However, as the Jerusalem Post reports, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have not confirmed the death of the Hamas leader.
