Dust blankets the island today under heavy, overcast skies as the Meteorological Service warns of an approaching low-pressure system. Thick fog may mask the eastern half of the country this morning, while winds gusting up to 5 Beaufort batter the western coast. Temperatures will peak at 20°C across inland and coastal areas, dropping to 10°C in the mountains. Dust levels will fluctuate but remain in the atmosphere until Monday night.
Rain and isolated thunderstorms will strike on Monday, with the heaviest downpours expected after midday. These storms bring a significant risk of hail. Tonight stays cloudy with temperatures dipping to 10°C inland and 6°C in the high peaks, though isolated showers may hit western districts before dawn.
Temperatures will slide further on Tuesday to meet seasonal averages, accompanied by lingering clouds and scattered western showers, before the skies finally clear on Wednesday.
