Today will be mainly cloudy with isolated showers expected in the afternoon.
Winds will blow predominantly from the north-east to east, weak to moderate in the morning at force 3 to 4 Beaufort — strengthening to force 5 on exposed coasts — and moderate to strong in the afternoon at force 4 to 5, reaching force 6 on windward shores.
The sea will be slight to moderate, becoming rough in the afternoon on exposed coasts.
Temperatures will reach around 21°C inland and along the eastern and south-eastern coast, around 23°C on other coastal areas, and around 16°C in the higher mountain regions.
Unsettled conditions are set to continue through Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with periods of local rain and isolated thunderstorms forecast.
Hail is possible during storms, while snow or sleet is expected on the highest Troodos peaks. Temperatures will gradually fall, dropping slightly below seasonal averages from Friday onwards.
