Rockslides and soil collapses have occurred on several Troodos roads, with police urging drivers to exercise particular caution.
The affected roads are:
- Pedoulas-Kykkos-Kampos
- Kykkos-Tsakistra
- Kampos-Orkonta-Orkonta-Kato Pyrgos
Meanwhile, around 6.30 am today, ice formed on the following roads, making surfaces dangerously slippery:
- Prodromos-Lemythou
- Prodromos-Platres
- Kakopetria-Pinewood-Pedoulas
- Kakopetria-Karvouna
Police are urging caution for those travelling on the road network and calling on drivers to observe the highway code and traffic signs to avoid collisions.
