After a week that felt like summer, rain is returning to the weather menu, according to the Meteorological Service forecast, with weak low pressure starting to affect the area.
Today, initially, weather in many areas will be mainly fine, whilst locally increased cloud will be observed mainly in the west. Gradually the weather will become partly cloudy and locally mainly cloudy, and at midday and in the afternoon isolated showers or brief thunderstorms are expected, mainly in the mountains and north.
Light dust will be present in the atmosphere. Winds will blow northeast to southeast at a light Force 3 and locally up to a moderate Force 3 to 4, soon becoming in the west and northwest mainly west to northwest at a moderate Force 4 and temporarily up to a strong Force 4 to 5.
The sea will be up to slight in the afternoon in the west and north, up to moderate. Temperatures will rise to around 27 degrees inland, around 26 on the coast and around 18 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Tuesday local showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected, whilst on Wednesday and Thursday isolated showers are expected mainly in the mountains and north.
Temperatures will show a noticeable drop on Tuesday to fluctuate near average climatological values. Until Thursday a gradual small rise is expected.
