President heads to Brussels for EU summit

President Nikos Christodoulides is headed to Brussels on Wednesday to participate in the European Council summit where leaders will discuss pressing matters such as the Ukraine conflict, migration and the Israel-Gaza crisis.

The summit, which will run through from Thursday to Friday, will also see Christodoulides participate in the European People’s Party (EPP) meeting.

Government spokesman Konstantinos Letymbiotis and director of the president’s diplomatic office Marilena Raouna will accompany the president.
