Police report 14 individuals and 15 store homeowners over Covid-19 protecting measures violation

Cyprus Police fined 14 people and 15 store homeowners for violating protecting measures aiming to include the unfold of the Covid-19 pandemic.

In Nicosia, the Police carried out 715 checks reporting 7 people and seven store homeowners, in Limassol 301 checks had been carried out with 3 store homeowners and 1 individual fined, in Larnaca 1 store proprietor was fined following 616 checks, in Pafos 2 individuals and three store homeowners had been reported after 131 checks, in Famagusta 1 store proprietor and 4 individuals had been fined after 489 checks, whereas within the Morphou area 244 checks had been carried out with no fines issued.

The Visitors Departments and the Marine and Port Police carried out 111 and 4 checks respectively with no fines issued.
