Police have installed card payment terminals at 24 locations island-wide as part of efforts to upgrade services and make things easier for citizens.
At Police Headquarters, POS terminals have been installed at Traffic Headquarters, the Criminal Records Office, Immigration, Firearms and Accounts.
Across the districts of Nicosia, Larnaca, Limassol, Paphos and Famagusta, as well as in the Morphou division, terminals have been placed at all Provincial Police Directorates, including accounts offices and firearms offices.
POS terminals have also been installed at Polis Chrysochous and Kato Pyrgos Police Stations.
Payments via POS will be processed during cashier operating hours.
Police said they are continuing to modernise services to better serve the public.
