Larnaca police are conducting intensive investigations to track down the perpetrator of a kiosk robbery who fled with loot exceeding €1,000.
Larnaca CID is seeking witness testimony from residents in an effort to find details about the perpetrator’s identity.
The robbery was committed just before 6 pm on Tuesday in an area bordering the Livadia municipal district. Wearing a hooded top, the perpetrator entered the kiosk and began shouting at the 67-year-old employee: “Give me the money…”.
He then grabbed approximately €1,100 from the till with quick movements and vanished on foot into the darkness.
Police are examining CCTV footage from the area to determine whether the perpetrator got into a vehicle after fleeing.
