Police officers escorted a couple to Nicosia General Hospital on Sunday afternoon after their two-and-a-half-year-old daughter slipped and hit her head.
Shortly after 1 pm, the child’s father contacted Nicosia Police Directorate requesting help to urgently transport his daughter to hospital following the fall. The father said he and his wife were heading to the hospital in their vehicle.
Z Team officers located the couple in the Anthoupolis area of Lakatameia and escorted them safely to the hospital’s accident and emergency department.
The girl received first aid and medical examinations, which showed she appears not to have suffered any injury. She remains in hospital for precautionary monitoring.
