Partly clouded weather this afternoon – Isolated showers expected in the mountainous areas

A seasonal low-pressure system is affecting the area, while an unstable air mass is expected, especially on Tuesday. This afternoon, the weather will be partly cloudy, with isolated showers expected, mainly in the mountainous areas.

Winds will be mainly southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, and temporarily strong, 5 Beaufort, on the southern coast. The sea will be slightly rough.

Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear; however, locally increased clouds will be observed from time to time, mainly in the western half of the island. Winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly and locally variable, light, 3 Beaufort, and the sea will be slightly rough.

The temperature will drop to around 20 degrees Celsius inland, around 22 on the coast, and around 13 degrees in the highest mountainous areas.

Tomorrow, the weather will initially be mostly clear, but after noon, increased clouds are expected to bring isolated showers or even thunderstorms in the mountainous and inland areas.

Winds will be southerly to southwesterly, initially light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, and later locally moderate to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will initially be slightly rough and later slightly to moderately rough. The temperature will rise to around 35 degrees inland, around 31 on the coast, and around 25 degrees in the highest mountainous areas.

On Tuesday, after noon, local showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected in the mountainous areas and inland. On Wednesday, clouds that will develop after noon are expected to bring local showers or even thunderstorms, mainly in the mountainous areas. On Thursday, the weather will become mostly clear. The temperature is not expected to change significantly over the three-day period, remaining close to the average climatic values.
