Parliament approves change to public sector working hours

The plenary session of the House of Representatives today gave the green light to the government’s proposal to change working hours in the public sector.

Civil servants will now be able to go to work between 7 am and 8.30 am and leave between 2.30 pm and 4 pm from Monday to Friday.

The new measure aims to reduce rush hour traffic congestion.
