Paphos is first regarding the number of people visiting recreation centers with occupancy exceeding 60%, while Agia Napa is recording an occupancy of 45-50%, according to Fytos Thrasyvoulou, president of the association of recreation centers OSIKA.
Thrasyvoulou expressed hope that after 15 May and the announcement about new flights and the programs of the Deputy Tourism Ministry, things will improve. He also asked the owners of recreation centers to get ready, expressing the view that this year’s tourist period will be very good.
He also said that the association is focusing on serving its members in finding workforce either from third countries or from the Ukrainian refugees or from Greece, so that businesses will be properly manned.
