New York Metropolitan Opera holds Ukrainian profit live performance

The New York Metropolitan Opera held a profit live performance “to assist Ukrainian residents beneath assault” on Monday (March 14).

The 70-minute program titled, “A Live performance for Ukraine” included performances of the Ukrainian nationwide anthem, ‘A Prayer for Ukraine’ and ‘Va, Pensiero” From “Nabucco.”

The Met Orchestra and Refrain and star soloists had been lead by music director, Yannick Nézet-Séguin.

Ticket proceeds will go to varied aid efforts in Ukraine.
