An unprecedented and bizarre incident occurred on Sunday afternoon in Limassol, when an unknown man reportedly pushed a vehicle into the sea in the Karnagio area, raising questions among citizens and police.
According to philenews information, citizens who at that moment were cycling along the cycle path noticed a man moving suspiciously.
As they report, the man headed towards the car, and after he released its handbrake, he pushed it with determined movements until it ended up in the sea.
Immediately afterwards, the unknown man left the scene, moving nervously and leaving those present shocked, trying to understand what had just happened.
Citizens notified police immediately. Patrols arrived at the scene within a few minutes, cordoning off the area and beginning on-site examinations.
Authorities will also proceed with a thorough examination of the vehicle to determine whether it is stolen or involved in another case. It should be noted that authorities have at their disposal a description of the unknown person.
The incident has caused concern whilst investigations are ongoing.
