A 51-year-old man has died after being found unconscious on a beach in eastern Limassol on Wednesday morning.
The man had gone to the coastal area to swim with his dogs. Despite efforts by hospital doctors who initially managed to resuscitate him, he later succumbed to his injuries in the evening.
According to Police, officers received information this morning about a man who had been found unconscious on a beach. The individual was transported by ambulance to hospital, where immediate medical intervention by healthcare staff temporarily restored his consciousness.
The man had visited the beach accompanied by his dogs, which were later collected by an animal welfare volunteer following coordination with police.
Police are investigating the case.
